Thank you for the reply and the information about the area. The brothers I am interested in, John and Jacob, went from Germany to the Isle of Man and stayed there, but they may well be related to the family that went to the US.
We don't have any information about them before they went to the Isle of Man, apart from the year they were born and that it was in Germany. All we know is that they were in a dance band that visited the Isle of Man and that they decided to stay.
