Hi Sue,

I've already done that within the past hour. I haven't visited all of my old postings and the responses, but I saw the important ones. On first look I didn't see a way to .reply. to my .old. postings.

I do my genealogy from 5 am to 8 am and sometimes to 9 am (Massachusetts time), so I need to get away from the computer for the rest of the morning.

But, I wanted to add to this morning's posting, that I was reminded last month that Evan Corkill was a Quartermaster on the ships he sailed on. And, in 1874 when his children were being shipped over to Canada, he was on a ship which was on it's way to Africa. Never found out what kinds of ships he sailed on, but he seems to have remained a mariner for a long time.
