Curlett glentrammon

I live in south east county down Ireland and have recently discovered a letter written by my ggg grandfather in 1869 where he describes his ancestry. Patrick Curlett came to Murlough nr Newcastle Ireland in about the year 1697, with his two brothers John and William who went to Derry, they came from the isle of man from a place called Glentrammond north of the island. Patrick married here and had three sons John & William the name of the third we are not certain off but we think it was Paul, as we know the name was in the family.
Where this young man went we are unable to tell but we have heard that he went back to the isle of man and afterwards to America.
Patrick is my direct ancestor and I am happy to know my origins in Glentrammon Isle of Man but I wondered if I might be able to narrow it down more with this information of PAUL being a family name? Maybe Paul was used in some way to define a particular Curlett lineage as I think Curlett was then a very common surname in the area?
Maybe someone can help.
