Is there a connection here with John Moughtin b abt 1750 Ballaugh m Catherine Caley abt 1803 Jurby ?
Patrick Moughtin m Judy (Joney) Quayle 24 Jan 1789 Kirk Jurby and their children were: Thomas, Margaret, Patrick, Anne, Catherine & Joney (IGI records). I haven't been able to confirm if its linked to my family or when/where John m Catherine Moughtin but one of their offspring John b 21 April 1821 is my gtgtgrandfather. I recently received a birth certificate showing John, son of John Quayle & Cath Moughtin ch 21 April 1821 in Lezayre. Has anyone any further information?
