When the parish registers were transcribed, the transcriber must have occasionally come across entries which were unreadable, having been defaced many years earlier by (eg) drops of water causing the ink to run. Perhaps Margaret Jane Bridson's baptism entry falls into this category ?

I don't have any experience of looking at registers on film, but I imagine that you can trawl through the Malew baptisms looking at every entry from Sept 1823 onwards until you see something which is difficult to decipher which just might be Margaret Jane's entry. December 1827 would be the latest you'd expect to find it, since John Samuel was baptised in Sept 1828.

I asked a helpful Manx researcher to look in the Malew burial register for clues which might link Margaret Jane Kennaugh nee Bridson to Eleanor Bridson nee Radcliffe.

I thought that "Silverburn" was significant in light of the birthplace Margaret Jane Kennaugh gave in 1901. I also thought that the Malew Street address for William Bridson fitted with the notion that the widower would likely have moved down the hill to Castletown to be looked after by his daughter.
