My husband (Edward Derek Christian) is a descendant of Robert Christian, son of Thomas Christian, weaver. Sylvia Mylchreest and I traced this line some years ago. Robert William Christian married Catherine Faragher 1st Nov 1856. Their son Thomas Henry Christian married Ann Isabella Jane Corrin and they are my husband's great grand parents. Thomas Christian, weaver, married Margaret Moore. Thomas' parents were William Christian and Ann Kelly. William's father was another William who married Joney Lewney. Williams parents were Mark Christian and Jony Crow of Bride. Mark and Jony were married 5.5.1717 at Bride. They are both buried in Maughold. I believe this is as far back as this line can be traced.
