I loved visiting the IOM, but haven't been back for quite a while. I found that everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, and members of the FHS went out of their way to help with my research while I was there. It was a weird feeling flying in to an island which my grandmother had left to go to the other side of the world more than 100 years earlier, never to return.
