Yes I realise that but when I looked at the census 1871 for Caines Ballachrink I found the son and father were both called John Thomas Caine so I am intrigued as to why the others are convinced that John T Caine must be John Taubman Caine son of John Thomas Caine and Margaret Jane ??

I must be missing a clue somewhere.
