Interesting. Every Sunday now there is a TV programme on BBC WORLD about mixed marriages which I have been watching. George Alaghir (spelling?) the BBC news reader is mixed race & doing the programmes. Many Chinese children were also born in Liverpool & never knew their fathers as they were shipped off. They are very interesting but also sad programmes because of the prejudices which were rife years ago. The white women were often ostracised if they had a mixed race child.
