Yes, that was James Curphey, b. 21 Feb. 1847 Michael, son of my gr. gr. grandfather William Curphey and ANN CANNELL. He inherited it, I believe from JOHN SR. brother of WILLIAM CURPHEY SR. (father oh Wm. Jr). There was an 1881 and 1891 census in England w/him in Whitehaven. Eliz. wife, Wm. John (b. Jan-Mar 1881 who I think was liv. at the farm B'clue in IOM 1909-1915 w/James Sr) , Hannah. I also believe that they are buried in Michael.
Wm. Curphey Jr.'s parents were Wm. Curphey and Eliz. Shimmin. There is a Catherine Shimmin connected somehow, b. 1771 (70 in 1841). Don't know if she was single and sis of Eliz. or sis in law. Do you have any info on Cannells connected w/Ballakilley Clue?
