Thanks Frances, we'll include him on the lost Langtons site and put the Isle of Man on our map. The obituary doesn't say where he came from presumably no one knows. The other Rev Charles Langton also suffered from ill health and was Charles Darwin's brother in law, resigning from the Church of England in 1881 who despite his ill health saw off his two wives First Darwin's cousin and then Darwin's sister. Far too much unnatural selection in that family! Your Rev Charles Langton seems altogether more admirable. Best wishes David
