Thanks Frances but NO I hadn't picked up on that - and there both near Maughold/Lezayre. I did notice that William was born in 1806 which makes my Catherine (b abt 1795) a litle young to be his mother. I also have similar doubts about Thomas b 1811. My initial information originated from Family Search which shows John b 1791 and Catherine b 1795 with children George 1817, Marjory 1818 and John 1821.
