yes i did think it was 1878 from the census i foun her in 1881 and 1891, she was the same age as her brother thomas alfred, turns out she was not a twin as i thought,i found her baptism in a film for kirk german number 0106177 july 6th 1877 and her brother was 1878, i feel yours is the correct alice and she was baptized alicemay corris, she had a sister in law in manchester, salford,a mary acheson who married peter moores, maybe that is why she went there thanks sue
