i looked at ancestry to see what was there and you are a goldmine, alices birthdate seems to be off by 2 years but she is born in peel and her baptism is really 1877 but we all know 2 years is not bad when you see some of the census , so yes i feel it is her , she was really alice may and the only other one we found was also a servant in 1901 but at a hotel in douglas and she was alice mary and not ours but the one you have found is i think ours so thankyou so very much for your help, i have ancestry but not find my past so now i must find the marriage and deaths of alice may menard and i think his name is frank menard,thanks again sue as it is not a short trip from toronto to the isle of man although i wish it was
