KayN.. Thank you for your reply; here is a bit more background info for you. In 1975 I married William Albert "Bert"
Moore the son of William Albert Moore and Irene Keig, The Moore family history is
still somewhat buried in clandestine secrets. Not that it worries me! I
don't even know the identity or the connection to the family of the "Peter"
who is also looking into the Moore family past!! I am aware Irene had a
daughter, Elsie, long before she married William Albert ( aka Bert) Moore . This
daughter, I believe, was passed off as the youngest child of Irene
Keig's mother. Elsie had two sons, the eldest, Edward, was adopted and raised by Irene
and William Albert Moore as their son, he is about 4 years younger than my late husband.
He and his wife Eileen have 4 sons, none of whom know that Irene Kieg was
actually their Great Grandmother!! They all have been brought up to believe
that Irene and William Albert (snr) were their Grandparents and I am sworn
to their father not to "spill the beans!" Elsie's other son's name was John, his wife is Christine. I don't know their surname. Are you are able to put me in touch
with Peter? I am sure we all have the information we can share.
