That is interesting so thank you. Poor William Edwin's mother also died when he was only a few months old in 1874 - that is why he stayed with his grandparents (Moores). His widowed (widowered ?) father William Thomas Moore then married Catherine Jackson. Catherine was born in England but moved to IOM to live with her md sister. Catherine was a widow when she md WT Moore & already had a daughter Annie Shimmin to her first husband . In 1893 Annie Shimmin md John Quayle in German. Could the Quayle family where William Albert was a boarder be related to Annie & John's Quayles? Possibly although I didn't recognise any of the Quayle names given by Sue.
