After visiting the island in May with my cousin, and finding the 'old family farm' Arragon Beg, I am now interested in tracing the history of whether it was 'owned' or 'tenanted'. In Australia we have a predominance of home ownership. Did that apply to the IOM. Many thanks if anyone is able to point me in the right direction.
