Thank you for your offer of help, very much appreciated, a look at the Baptisms in Andreas between 1740 - 1750 for a John Christian son of Gilbert Christian

just done my maths !

so there must be another son John Christian born c1740 or maybe an illegitimate John ??? born c1740 an illegitimate son for Gilbert before he married in 1747 ?

the one Baptism I found is for, Jon Christian Baptised on 05 JAN 1752 Andreas, I thought he was the Jon married Cath. Tear in 04 JUL 1762 Andreas (but he would have been only 10 years old)

There is no hurry for this look up just when you next visit your FHC and have the time, looks like it must be an illegitimate John ?
