Re: John Caine
In Response To: Re: John Caine ()

Dear Frances and Ms. Douglass,
So sorry to hear about JOHN CAINE, the founder of the web site and the researcher for my elderly family member, he did a good work, I still believe we will found his work was not in vain. Sympathy to his son and family.
Thank you for replyilng, I have injured my back in a terrible fall again, such as comes with age or either two left feet, I am in much pain, but went through Archives 1, I do legal work and consume data rapidly, I have a compressed disc fracture , so needless to say the pain is horrible. Thank you Ms. DOUGLASS, perhaps your "JUMPING THE POND" CAN APPLY to 55 years of research that MAY be wasted, I sent an e-mail to Frances showing my trying depserately to find the Bible, the family member is also elderly and had knee placement surgery has fallen and cracked a RIB and ALSO HAS A COMPRESSION FRACTURE, we CAINS, DO IT RIGHT or least I thought we did, Please , know I am sorry of any harshness or sorrow I have caused either of you. I have been going on the historical data we had , court house records, a PATRICK CAINE CAME TO AUGUSTA COUNTY VIRGINIA WITH HIS SISTER ALICE, HE HAD LAND GRANTS, HE WAS IN WAXHAW COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, he settled in SOUTH CAROLINA he married Molly GRIFFITH, his mother was ANNE CORLETT AND FATHER ADAM CAINE, by what JOHN CAINE gave us, so we went on his research he did the whole family tree. I am sure a bright and intelligent man as he was could not be that wrong, I do hope the Bible shows up in one of the boxes at our elderly ones home. I have worked years as many others. Well, enough, if the Bible is found I shall get ALL THE NEEDED COPIES and hope that Ms. LETHWAITE will take it on.

Then if we are not MANX, then I hope my lovely relationships with those I have been in contact for years will remain friends and even so I shall be coming to the Isle whether a descendant or not. The Isle is Paradise and those who live there I ENVY, and I have lived in HAWAII,military life and it does not even compare to the Isle, and I thank Jon Worham for opening my eyes through his art works he has given me a tour every month, and for 6 years which I have admired such wonderful lands and valleys and ocean ports, especially Kirk Michael. and so many others places OLD BALLAUGH CHURCH. WELL enough, must rest, bad day with all this negative news and pains.

Liz your WALL broke down, mine crumbling before my eyes, such as, we must accept our ship and sail it wherever it may take us!!

Kindly yours,

Mrs. rOSA
