I found an old diary note from about 1880 that says Charles Kewley, living in Douglas, was a first cousin of my great-grandmother, and that he had a son, WIlliam Kewley, who was living in Laxey. He also had a second son, Charles Kewley, a first daughter Esabella Kewley, and a second daughter Katherine Kewley. My Kewleys came from Kirk German.
