That's great, Donna. Thank you. It means that the parents of the Robert Craine b 1809 who married Eleanor Woods, were probably William Craine and Jane Teare.

This makes the 1822 will of Jane Craine nee Teare----

CRAINE, Jane 1822 Braddan TEARE E 1 0106423

----- a crucial piece in the jigsaw. This will should mention her 6 or 7 young children.

I wonder whether the Elizabeth who became William Craine's second wife was a spinster or a widow..... also, whether she was a relative. There are no children from that marriage in the 1841 census. Previously I'd suggested that she was Elizabeth alias Craine, but I've discovered that this was a different couple.
