I am also researching the Armstrong\Kneale family and am struggling to trace William Armstrong. You mention in one of your prior posts that you traced William back to Fulford, Yorkshire.
I am struggling to make this connection as I cannot find William in the 1911 census.
His wife, Florence Armstrong, is found at The Lion, Marown together with 3 children, John Norman (7), Ivy May (5) and William Arthur (2).
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
