I have reached a dead end re my great-great-great grandfather William Goldsmith who died in IOM 28 April 1827. Together with Jane Kermeen (born 1758) he produced my great grandfather, also William Goldsmith, who was apparently born out of wedlock in 1795. His will also refers to two daughters Jane & Isabella. His son William married Isabel Kermode who were the parents of my great-grandfather Daniel Robert who emigrated to Australia in 1882. I would like to trace great-great-great grandfather William's family line which is difficult as I don't have his DOB and there were so many William Goldsmiths born around that time! Can anyone help please?
