My grand uncle, Thomas Arthur Goldsmith (known as Arthur) b1893 Andreas IOM; married Emily Norton in 1912 and they had a daughter Leah Isabel b1913. Arthur emigrated to Australia in the early 20 Cent, living I believe in the Brisbane area. His wife and daughter were due to join him in Aus. Leah married Tommy Bell 1935 and they also emigrated to Aus. with their daughter Barbara Eileen some years later, but his wife remained on the Island.
I am aware he was visited by a niece, Gladys Jean Blackburn, but have no further information.
Does anyone have any knowledge or information of my ancestor?
