Just bought the 1841 census CD rom & have a few queries about the handwriting. For Jane Ritson age 14 Marown 1464/6 7 8 - is it Ballafreer House ? If so does anyone know where this house was? It also says initials like Fr S? as occupation. Is this Jr S which I guess could be junior servant ? Looking at the original census forms makes the history seem more interesting as the families seem to 'come alive' . Strange feeling. Thanks - K
