Palatine Health Centre / GP practice was built on the
plot in 1970's perhaps when the gardener sold the plot or gave up the tenancy. He lived in Farrant
Street near by. Part of the high hedge still exists.
I think he just put up a handwritten sign veg / fruit for
sale----for surplus as the plot was only small.The building
is still there & used as an office. The GP practice having
moved to the new Noble's Hospital Estate in Braddan .
