I believe that in mid 1800s a group of Keigs went out to New Zealand but I'm not sure who.

William Keig and Elleanor (Ellen) Caley had a number of children and In the census of 1871 it has two grandchildren living with Ellen in German who were both born in New Zealand called William Keig born abt 1865 and Ellen J Keig born abt 1869. I think theirs parents may have died and were sent back to the IoM.

I currently use ancestry but they do not have New Zealand records. Any help is much appreciated.
