Kneales from Andreas

Ann Kneale (born about 1830 Kirk Michael) is the illegitimate daughter of John Kneale born about 1806 in Andreas.

John Kneale born about 1806 appears on the 1841 census at

RG number: HO107 Piece: 1463 Book/Folio: 1/26 Page: 7

In the IOMFHS Andreas burial register 1645-1971 I found a John Kneale of Kerroomooar aged 78 years buried 16 Dec. 1890, therefore he would have been born about 1803, so this looks as if it could be the correct person, if any of you think otherwise please let me know.

The address is listed as Kerroo Moar, Andreas, and possibly his father is the John Kneale born about 1776 as listed.

On Frances CD-ROM I found three possible marriages for a John Kneale (the father) born about 21 years prior to 1803 and came up with

(1) John Kneale marrying Catherine Brew on 2nd Jan. 1781 (both of Andreas) – Catherine died about 1840.

(2) John Kneale marrying Bahee Kaneen on 13 Jan. 1787 (both of Andreas) – Bahee died about 1846.

(3) John Kneale marrying Esther Kneale on 26th Nov. 1798 – Esther died about 1839.

As John (the father born about 1776) appeared without a wife on the 1841 census if looks as if the possible candidates for a wife are Catherine Brew or Esther Kneale.

As I am unable to get to a library could some kind person confirm for me who the parents of the John Kneale born about 1806 are, and then perhaps if we’re on the right track the next target is to confirm if the parents of John Kneale born about 1776 are

John Kneale and Ann Goldsmith

Or

John Kneale and Catharine Crellin

Hope you can understand all this and many thanks in advance for any help that may be forthcoming.
