Dear Norma I am still surprised at the link to Matthias and Catherine and keep looking at the Census records to see if there is any anomaly to be found. Matthias and Catherine would be my GGG Grandparents. If you follow the Census records for Robert you can see that he is with Catherine up until 1861. He then has Margaret Kennedy with him 1871 & 1881, who is his Sister-in-law, she tells me that this is the correct line to my family. Matthias - Robert - IOM CENSUS, then LIVERPOOL CENSUS Oliver Orpheus Cain- Robert Edward Cain- Living Cain - self (Australia now UK).
