I hadn't seen this posting before I replied to your Catherine Cowley post
Now I looking at my records for Louisa Cowley
nee Oates She was born to Robert Oates and Louisa Kelly of (I think) Ballalonna in 1860 and died 12/5/1942
so she would be 70ish in the 1930's as far as I know she and William didn't have any children
but in 1891 and 1901 they had the son of
William Corlett and Alice Margaret Oates living with them he was called William Oates Corlett
In 1911 Ballanea William age 67 Louisa 51
and Louisa Oates Wid age 77
