The greatest proof I have found that we have the right Esther Leece with David & Esther/Hester (Cain) is the 1851 census I saw listing William Callin and wife Esther with mother-in-law Esther Leece. I will print it off and send it to you.
Do you have any further proof that your John Callin was in fact John Carran son of John Carran and Esther Leece (illegitimate)???
