George Cuvier Spencer was my great-grandfather, and his daughter Amy was my maternal grandmother.
I’m 71 going on 72 in June this year.
I immigrated to Canada in 1964 and currently live in Oakville, Ontario which is about 60 km (35 miles) west of Toronto.
Golders Green is a very familiar name to me because the local shopping area where I lived until I emigrated was Belmont Circle, just west of Edgware.
The majority of the names that I have for your side of the family are Spencers. The only Blackburn connection is your grandmother Margaret.

One item that has evaded me is where your father and his sister Doreen born. I presume it was in the IOM because there’s no record of either of them in the Birth Registry for England and Wales. Do you have this information?
