Re: Info re Blackburn Family
In Response To: Re: Info re Blackburn Family ()

Dear Alan Harvey
Yes, of course.
I have a copy of a 'family tree' of the Spencer's made by my Uncle Ted ( Margaret Elizabeth Ann's son-in-law). I also have a family tree of the Blackburn's.
I never met my grandfather, Sidney Ewart Spencer, but did meet cousins of his called Mary-Louise and Vi who lived in Eastbourne towards the end of their lives. I have some archive material related to Charles Green Spencer and other balloonists. I also have copies of Charles Green Spencer's books on gymnastics and cycling Land's End to John O'Groats on a penny farthing. I am repeating this expedition (not on a penny farthing!) in June.
Obviously I have fond recollections of Margaret Elizabeth Ann who we called 'Mom'. One of my daughters is called Hilary Margaret Ann after her.
Who are you related to exactly?
How old are you?
I have been meaning to contact Nick Peacey for many years - I lived (technically still do) in Golders Green.
Hilary was married at Lauderdale House, Highgate last year near to the Spencer graves.
Greetings
Joy-Kirsten Jackson
