It looks like Robert married Elizabeth Frances Despard 1864 in Liverpool then returned to the Island.

A number of children were recorded in IGI but most, if not all, died young. I,m guessing Elizabeth Frances was buried soon after the birth of their last child, Mch 23 1869- see burial index.

Robert may have married again as suggested by the 1881 census.
