A search for the name "Cheyne" on the IOM website shows up a couple of references, including a Charles Cheyne, son of Dr Cheyne, born 1822, who attended King William's College.
Another reference refers to a Dr Cheyne who had 14 children.
We were wondering if a search for Ann Cheyne (probably born early 1800s) in the IOM records might turn up something?
