I am a lineal descendant of Daniel Kneale of the Kew, German (1755 - 1833) and his wife Christian Shimmin (c1751 - 1840) through their daughter Catherine Kneale (1788 - 1850) who married Charles Cannell of Shoughlaigue -e- Cain, Kirk Michael. She had a brother John, whose dates I do not have. There was another brother William Kneale, b. 1788. A grandson settled in Ohio, and in the 1970's the family still had a farm there called Kew Hill, if my memory serves. Looks like this is your kin.
