Margaret Craine (born 1827) daughter of Thomas Craine and Esther Gelling is 2nd ggrandmother in my tree. I have not added the parents of Thomas Craine(1805-1872) to my tree as yet. I know his father was Thomas Craine and have read that his mother was Mary Ann...but the IGI lists Thomas Craine baptised 30 July 1905 died 25 Jan 1809 son of Thomas Crain and Mary Cowel. Does this mean that our Thomas Craine was born closer to 1801 which it says on the IGI for his marriage to Esther Gelling? Or is this Crain someone altogether different? Can you help clear this up for me?
