Frances. family legend has it that the Brownes of Ardglass Co. Down had to "vacate" Ardglass Castle due to bad debts etc.. Eliza Brown, daughter of Captain Blair Browne m.s.,and her husband James Brown (cousins?) are buried in Rushen churchard, both were Irish born. My gt.grandfather's Sister Margaret Browne (Irish born) married James Kelly, Port St.Mary, descendants went to Australia, as did family of Captain Daniel Brown.
