My grandfather, William Cooil, (christened 21st March, 1869 in Kirk Arbory) married Amy Helena May Browne (born in India,daughter of the James Browne I am seeking) in the Isle of Man, 01/08/1859. I have a copy of their marriage certificate somewhere, not too easily to hand! One of the witnesses was a Kelly, female. A Margaret Browne (d.o.b.1826James) married James Kelly (christened 06/06/1824)and their offspring ended up in Australia. I met one of their descendants a few years ago, she has been very helpful but she is stuck with JAMES Browne as well! My grandmother has siblings born in India, Evelyn,MALE,-Albion, Ethel Grace Mona. The Brown side previous to James is very sketchy but the BLAIR name frequently crops up,-Captain Blair Brown, John Blair Brown, Nassau Blair Browne, so I am well and truly stuck!
