During WW! there was an enormous camp , the size of
a town , at Knockaloe Farm near Peel & another in
Cunninghams Young Mens Holiday camp in Douglas.Wealthy privileged internees could even employ
a servant, In the Jewish camp members had Kosher food & facilities for religious services etc. MNH has a paperback book "Living with the Wire" including WW2
camps.
