Mine might be more of a question than a response ... my grandfather was a doctor at the internment camp ... I sometimes wonder what that would have been like. Having a doctor there implies some care was given so it couldn't have been too inhumane or rather my grandfather couldn't have been? I do realise the people held didn't want to be but I'd hate to think my grandfather was part of something brutal or inhumane.
