I am trying to trace my great grandfather his name was Joseph Shimmin, his profession listed on his sons marriage certificate was ship steward. I don't know why but my grandfather also named Joseph Shimmin came to liverpool at 15 years old to live with his uncle, they lived at 55 Clarence gardens everton Liverpool.
my grandfather was born in 1886 and married amy cooper in 1908.
