I have just come across this site whilst trying to discover some history about my uncles and I am fascinated by some of the posts. I can certainly answer a number of the questions rasied and in particuilar the pictures that appeared in the Daily Mail article.

My full name is Thomas Paul Ridgway Bridson and as you can probbly guess I am a direct descendant of both Paul Bridson and Thomas Bridson (Mayor of Bolton).

The portrates and the picture on the horse to which you refer are owned by my mother and I am sure that I could arrange for photos to be taken.
