It was my Great Grandfather who was born in 1843. The story passed down is that he was born in the Isle of Man, but I have since found his birth registered in Liverpool. His Father was from the Isle of Man and he moved to Liverpool by 1841, I thought they might have been visiting the island when he was born and they then had him registered when they arrived back in Liverpool.
