What were his name[s]and exact date of birth as given in the registration?

Under "when and where born" did it say Liverpool? How many days were there between the date of birth and the date of registration? Birth certs recorded the place of birth as well as the usual residence of the mother if the birth took place elsewhere. So if all of these confirm Liverpool, it looks as though the marriage cert was wrong. Perhaps confused by his parents talking about their native place?
