I am only going on information told to me by my father years ago. My grandfathers name was Stephen James Waterson. If i recall my father informed me that my grandfather was born on the Isle of Man. But my grandfather also talked of Sheffield. My grandfather also had a brother named Herbert. They both migrated to Australia. I have been trying to find a starting point. My grandfather married here and had 12 children. And out of the children that married from my grandfather's offspring. I am the only male,all the rest had daughters. Is their any body who may be able to give me a starting point. As my father has a similar facial feature to one of the females in The Waterson folk group.
