Does anyone know of a family of Wattersons who may have spent time on the Calf of Man? Stephen Watterson (became postmaster, Colby) and Eleanor Costain (from Arbory)had about 8 children.One son, Edward, is noted in the 1881 census as being born on the Calf of Man (from age given there circa 1870) and a burial register entry for daughter Eleanor states she died on Calf Island (she was buried Arbory 17/05/1867).
I am curious to know what they might have been doing there?
