Re: Quayle family research.
In Response To: Re: Quayle family research. ()

I'm interested in your note about Philip Quayle and Jane Taggert. I'm fairly new to researching my ancestors and have information from my Aunt about the Quayle side of my family. It shows a Philip Quayle and an Ellen Jane Taggert (both b. about 1806) having 7 children, one of which was named John Richard Quayle (b. 10/7/1834 at Foxdale, IOM). John married a Margaret Brideson (or Bridson). My information shows that John and Margaret came to the US in 1867 and settled in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. They had 10-12 children (John Jr., Richard, Mona, James, William, Catherine, Anna, Thomas, Phillip, ?). Richard was my Great-Grandfather.

I'm wondering if any of these people are among the ancestors you have for Philip Quayle?
