Carol, I thought your question was very intelligent. I think there are probably many of us who think fleetingly about puzzlers then forget all about them. I found the subject very interesting. I recently read a novel called "The Manxman" written by Hall Caine and published in 1894. It belonged to my grandfather. Apart from being a very good story it gave a great insight into the lives of people living in the Isle of Man at that time. It also told of men going to Africa to mine diamonds and make their fortune, so Manxmen travelled far and wide. Thank you for making us sit up and take notice. Regards and Cheers from Oz, Billee.
