Re poor response to emails - yes there have been problems at Island end (but I dont know at local rep's end) - most members of committee are not computer literate, I know the committee have discussed it but so far no-one is willing to take on responsibility as it could be a very time-consuming job though currently there is a volunteer who will field most incoming emails.

The interest should not cease - after all there will the Manx Genealogy B/B which remains open to all (assuming Admin continue to allow it), this B/B was initially set up for society business and not general genealogy
